Gaza, April 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Al-Ribat Club was crowned champion of the Hope Championship for players born in 2009 after defeating Ittihad Khan Younis by four goals to nil, in the final of the Central and Southern branch, which was held today, Wednesday, at the Nuseirat Services Club hall .
Al-Rabat delivered a strong performance that reflected the outstanding performance shown by the players during the team’s matches in the tournament .
Mahmoud Hegazi opened the scoring for Rabat, and then added a second goal, ending the first half with his team leading by two goals to nil.
Al-Rabat continued to dominate the second half, with the brilliant Mohamed Abu Yousef adding the third goal, before Mahmoud Hijazi scored the team’s fourth, ending the match with a well-deserved 4-0 victory over Ittihad Khan Younis .
Al-Ribat is waiting for the winner from the Gaza and North branch to determine the champion of the competition .
