Our correspondent reported that the demonstrators emphasized that holding such events inside the United States represents an attempt to market colonialism and profit from seized Palestinian lands, and that the lands on display are located within areas that international law considers occupied territories .
The participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning the conference, demanding a halt to any activity that promotes or economically supports colonialism .
