New York, May 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Widespread protests were organized in New York City in rejection of a conference organized by companies linked to settlements, which included offers to sell real estate and land in the West Bank .
Our correspondent reported that the demonstrators emphasized that holding such events inside the United States represents an attempt to market colonialism and profit from seized Palestinian lands, and that the lands on display are located within areas that international law considers occupied territories .
The participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning the conference, demanding a halt to any activity that promotes or economically supports colonialism .
He noted that the protesters, who are activists and organizations supporting Palestinian rights, expressed their rejection of the conference, considering that it is trying to legitimize colonial expansion despite repeated international condemnations of it .
