Gaza, May 5, 2026 (WAFA) – A citizen was martyred at dawn on Tuesday as a result of an Israeli drone targeting a group of citizens near Al-Jalaa roundabout in the Al-Ayoun area, north of Gaza City .
Medical sources reported that the attack also resulted in injuries, some of which were described as serious, and the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment .
This targeting comes amid continued raids and shelling on various areas of the Gaza Strip, which has raised the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 to 833 martyrs, and the total number of injuries to 2,354, while 767 bodies were recovered from under the rubble .
The sources indicated that a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them until this moment .
