Ramallah, May 1, 2026 (WAFA) – A citizen was injured by live ammunition, and dozens suffered from tear gas inhalation, on Friday, during an Israeli occupation forces raid on the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the village and fired rubber-coated metal bullets, live ammunition, and toxic gas canisters towards its mosque as citizens were leaving Friday prayers, resulting in a young man being shot with live ammunition and dozens suffering from suffocation.
She added that the occupation army detained a number of young men and children in the village, and their fate was unknown, whether it was arrest or interrogation, until the news report was prepared.
Later, settlers, accompanied by the occupation army, stormed the village and raided the area surrounding the main mosque.
