The proprietor of a Hebron exchange store was the victim of a robbery today, and the culprits were apprehended by the General Investigation Department.
Colonel Louay Arziqat, the police’s media spokesman, explained that the owner of an exchange shop had been the victim of a robbery at the beginning of this year. A group of people had stopped him on the way to his shop in the morning, assaulted him at gunpoint, and then managed to steal 70 thousand shekels before fleeing the scene.
“At that time, the General Investigation Department immediately launched search and investigation procedures to ascertain the facts surrounding the crime and identify the suspects,” he continued.
He added that the suspects were believed to be hiding inside a home in Hebron’s Old City according to the information the police had received. A police squad arrived there right away and was able to apprehend three of them.
Arziqat highlighted the detainees’ commitment to properly completing the legal processes brought against them.
