Bethlehem – SafaFour citizens were injured by gunfire and beatings on Saturday morning, as a result of an attack by settlers on the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.The head of the Kisan village council, Musa Abayat, reported that a group of settlers attacked citizens in the village of Kisan and fired live ammunition at them, resulting in citizens being wounded by gunfire.He explained that two other citizens were beaten, and all injuries were described as moderate.He added that the settlers seized about 100 sheep belonging to citizen Attallah Ibrahim Abayat.He explained that this comes within the framework of repeated attacks targeting citizens and their property in the Kisan desert.For its part, the Red Crescent reported that its crews in Bethlehem dealt with two injuries from live bullets in the lower extremities of a man (52 years old) and a young man (39 years old), as a result of the settlers’ attack on the Kisan al-Rashayda area.He added that the occupation forces prevented the ambulance from reaching the area to retrieve those injured by settlers’ bullets.The village of Kisan, southeast of Bethlehem, is subjected to repeated attacks by settlers, including attacks on citizens’ property and the establishment of a settlement outpost on its lands.
