Beirut, March 11, 2026 (WAFA) – 64 people were killed and at least 142 were injured on Wednesday in raids launched by Israeli occupation aircraft on southern and eastern Lebanon, in addition to the capital Beirut and its southern suburbs.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported in its daily report that the total number of martyrs and wounded from March 2nd to March 11th reached 634 martyrs and 1586 wounded, explaining that the number of martyrs on Wednesday reached 64 martyrs and the number of wounded reached 142.
The Lebanese News Agency reported that the occupation’s warplanes “committed a massacre in the town of Shaat in the northern Bekaa Valley, which resulted in 8 martyrs and 3 wounded.”
According to the agency, the occupation forces raided the towns of Sharqiyah, Kfar Tebnit, Jebchit, Arab Salim, and the city of Nabatieh, among others, in the Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon. They also launched heavy airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
The occupation raids on the town of Al-Shahabiya in the Tyre district resulted in “the martyrdom of 7 Lebanese and the injury of 11,” according to a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
Three people were killed in an Israeli drone strike this morning on a car in the Saf al-Hawa area of Bint Jbeil city in the Nabatieh Governorate of southern Lebanon.
An Israeli drone also carried out an attack on the town of Barashit, wounding two Syrians, one of them critically. A Palestinian was killed after being targeted by an Israeli drone on Mahmoud Faqih Street in the city of Nabatieh. Two more people were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a car on the road to the town of Shaqra in the same district .
In the town of Tibnin, a drone targeted the base of a building at dawn, and “a number of injuries were reported,” according to the agency, which did not specify the number. Israeli warplanes and drones also attacked the town of Zibqin in the Tyre district, while the outskirts of the town were simultaneously subjected to artillery shelling .
The agency reported that the occupation raids targeted the towns of Tulin and Qabrikha, adding that “6 people were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted the town of Burj al-Shamali in the Tyre district on Wednesday evening . “
In the Bint Jbeil district, “3 people were killed and 3 others were wounded in an Israeli raid that targeted the town of Deir Antart, according to the same source .
On Wednesday morning, the Ministry of Health announced “the death of 3 martyrs, including a paramedic, in two Israeli raids on the town of Hanawiya in the Tyre district.”
