Hebron, March 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation soldiers, attacked a number of Palestinians today in Khirbet Hamroush in the town of Sa’ir, and in Khirbet Hawara in Masafer Yatta, northeast and south of Hebron, in the southern West Bank . Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers uprooted hundreds of olive trees west of Hebron.
Wafa’s correspondent said that settlers from the “Givat Ma’ale Tedhar” settlement, which is built on citizens’ lands in the town of Sa’ir, attacked citizens in Khirbet Hamroush, which led to a number of members of the Shalalda family being injured with bruises and contusions, as a result of being beaten by heavily armed settlers, and they were treated on the spot .
He added that the occupation forces arrested the two young men, Ziad and Jawad Shalalda, while they were farming their land in the area, and took them to an unknown location .
In a related context, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra told Wafa that settlers attacked citizens in Khirbet Hawara in Masafer Yatta, assaulting them with beatings and spraying them with pepper spray, which caused citizens Muhammad Ali Al-Adra and Issa Muhammad Musaf to suffer from suffocation and bruises, and were subsequently transferred by Red Crescent ambulances to Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment .
The occupation forces also chased a number of children while they were on their land in the Khallat al-Adra area near Wadi al-Jawaya in Masafer Yatta, and arrested the child Waad Fadl Emar (14 years old), and transferred him to an unknown location .
In the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, the occupation authorities have continued for several days to uproot hundreds of olive trees along the apartheid wall .
