Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the “Hamas” movement’s political office, claimed that the assassination of the leaders through a cunning operation would not increase security for the occupation but rather increase resistance.

In a brief statement, he continued, “The enemy made a mistake in its estimates and will pay the price for its crime.” He was responding to the early-morning Tuesday assassination of three leaders of the al-Quds Brigades.

The attack affects all of our people, he emphasized, and “only the resistance will decide the way that hurts the treacherous enemy, and the resistance is united in confronting it.”
