The Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah has witnessed a qualitative leap and remarkable development after the operation of a group of new specialized departments, with the support of the Palestinian community in the United States of America, which contributes to strengthening health services and localizing them locally and reducing medical referrals outside the Palestinian health sector system .
The new departments include the Vascular Center, the Women’s Health and Breast Cancer Department, the Pathology Laboratory, the Pulmonary Function Laboratory, the Pediatric Radiology Room, and mobile ultrasound equipment. These health projects were implemented in partnership between Physicians for Palestine (PfPal) and the American Federation of Ramallah-Palestine, with a generous donation from Mr. Shawqi Shaheen, and with full follow-up and coordination with the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the administration of the Palestine Medical Complex .
Dr. Rajai Khoury, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Doctors for Palestine”, said that this partnership represents an inspiring model of the power of collective action, unity of purpose, and spirit of giving in achieving a tangible impact that serves our people .
