The plan for getting via the Rafah crossing tomorrow and Sunday

On Saturday, the General Authority for Crossings and Borders at the Ministry of Interior in Gaza outlined the procedure for entering the southern Gaza Strip through the land border at Rafah.

According to a statement the authorities provided to the “Safa” agency, the first bus on the passenger list No. (18/2023) will be used for transportation tomorrow, Sunday.

She also said that the first bus from the Egyptian passport list No. (18/2023) would be used for the trip.

She also emphasized the importance for each traveler to stick to his schedule because no traveler is permitted to arrive after the authority has stated the time, adding that he will be there at precisely 7:00 am in the crossing’s outdoor hall.

She also urged people to carry their identity cards with them when they travel, noting that the information on newly issued passports should be updated in 2022 at the interior directorates in the governorates and that people should bring a letter stating that they have no objections if only one parent travels with their children without the other.

Additionally, she emphasized the need of settling the status of foreigners and expatriates at the Department of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Interior before their departure from the Strip; those who do not finish their procedures would not be permitted to go.
