Al-Aghwar, April 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Last night, settler bulldozers demolished Al-Malih School in the northern Jordan Valley .
The head of the Al-Malih village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, reported that settlers stormed the community and proceeded to demolish the school and the surrounding homes .
He added that the settlers’ continued attacks had previously forced Palestinian families who lived in the area to leave .
In a related context, the Director of Education in Tubas, Azmi Balawneh, said that about 70 male and female students were receiving their basic education from the first to the fourth grade in the targeted school.
He added that due to the settlers’ attacks, which caused families to leave the area, the number decreased to 30 students, then to 16 students, and then it was completely emptied after all the families were displaced from it.
The school employed 7 staff members, including the school principal, five members of the teaching staff, and a services messenger.
