The group stage competitions for the “Central and Southern” branch of the “Hope” football tournament for those born in 2009, in partnership with the “Human Smile” Foundation, concluded in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
At the Nuseirat Services Club stadium in the central Gaza Strip, and within the competitions of the fourth group, Al-Bureij Services achieved its second consecutive victory, which came at the expense of Al-Maghraqa with a clean 3-0 score, to sit at the top of the standings with 6 points.
Al-Bureij’s three goals were scored by Amir Abu Jabara, Youssef Abu Hmeisa, and Hussein Al-Durra.
In the third group, Rafah Services drew with Maghazi Services in a goalless draw, and with the same result, Al-Rabat drew with Nuseirat Services in the fifth group.
The matches were officiated by a refereeing team consisting of Ahmed Shubeir, Mo’men Madi, Fayez Omran, Muhammad Al-Za’anin, Amjad Al-Attar, Khaled Abu Al-Khair, and Muhammad Al-Za’anin.
At the stadium of the Union of Deir al-Balah Club in the central Gaza Strip, and within the competitions of the first group, Al-Aqsa defeated Jama’i Rafah by three goals to two. Hossam Abu Abeili, Basem Nabhan, and Mahmoud Al-Madhoun scored for the first team, while Nadeem Al-Zamli and Hassan Sultan scored for the second team.
In the second group, Al-Salah triumphed over Al-Tarabot with a clean four-goal victory. Al-Salah’s four goals were scored by Mu’ayyad Aidan (two goals), Ali Thabit, and Muhammad Al-Ustad.
In the sixth group matches, Shabab Al-Zawaida defeated Ahli Al-Nuseirat with a clean goal scored by Hazem Abu Zayed.
The referees for the matches were Mohammed Al-Ghul, Mahmoud Abu Mustafa, Amjad Laqan, Mohammed Badr, Mohammed Mai, and Marcel Abu Shadaq.
