A security official in the resistance confirmed on Monday that the operation that took place in the Abu Hamid roundabout area in the center of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip, in which it thwarted an attempt by vehicles belonging to the occupation gangs to infiltrate, is a failure of its operations, and a blow to the attempt to seek legitimacy for these gangs.
The official in the resistance security, in a special statement to the Safa news agency, said that confronting the collaborating gangs today is an indication of the occupation’s failure to direct and move these gangs, no matter what training and capabilities they have received.
He added, “This operation today will serve as a deterrent to them in the future and will strengthen the popular support for the resistance, especially since it was the citizens who took the initiative to confront these gangs and contacted the resistance security in this operation or in other operations.”
He considered the recent behavior of these gangs to be an act of revenge, because these gangs suffer from a psychological and social problem with their community and their families.
He continued, “They are taking revenge on themselves through arrests, kidnappings, killings, intimidation, and crimes among citizens, in order to achieve their goals, and the occupation does not hesitate to exploit this situation for them.”
He stressed that the occupation is trying, through these gangs, to provoke the resistance, so that it will emerge and the occupation will then target it.
According to the official, these gangs are acting like robots, as a tool in the hands of the occupation, which does not hesitate to bomb these groups if they fail in a particular operation to protect the occupation army in what is called the “yellow line”.
He also said, “These gangs are actually part of the war on Gaza and its inhabitants, and they move under the direction of the occupation and carry out tasks that the occupation is unable to confront, so they put these people in the fire pit.”
He noted that these gangs try every so often to approach the western side of the “yellow line” to terrorize and intimidate people, but the popular stance is firm against these gangs.
He stressed that citizens are well aware that these individuals in these groups are drug dealers and have security records, and they reject this situation. He indicated that citizens have formed a common community stance to confront this situation, within a popular movement that will be stronger in confronting these gangs.
Today, the resistance security forces confronted an incursion by vehicles belonging to the occupation’s agents and militias into the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, and inflicted casualties among them, including deaths and injuries.
Eyewitnesses reported that three vehicles belonging to the occupation agents infiltrated near Abu Hamid roundabout in the center of Khan Yunis city, and that the resistance security forces confronted the infiltrating force by directly targeting one of these vehicles, which led to it being burned.#Security official
