Jerusalem, March 8, 2026 (WAFA) – Settlers seized the property of a citizen in the Bedouin community of Khilat al-Sidra, near the village of Mikhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, on Sunday .
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that settlers seized property belonging to citizens and vandalized other property in the Khilat al-Sidra community.
The village of Mikhmas, and the nearby Bedouin community of Khallat al-Sidra, are subjected to repeated attacks by settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces. These attacks include assaulting citizens, shooting at them, destroying and burning homes, barns, and vehicles, and vandalizing solar panels and surveillance cameras, as well as seizing a number of them .
The “Khallat al-Sidra” community is located about 800 meters northeast of the village of Mikhmas. It is inhabited by 16 families from the Ka’abneh and Jahalin clans, totaling 59 people, almost half of whom are children, who make a living by raising livestock.
