Ramallah, January 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested dozens of citizens, mostly former prisoners, in several towns and villages in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, including a child, at dawn on Thursday .
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the Jalazone camp and raided a number of homes, arresting Baraa Mu’tasim Nakhla, Muhammad Jalal Nakhla, Mahmoud Jalal Nakhla, Muhammad Khalil Amer, Amr Khalil Amer, Oweis Nakhla, Awab Adnan Al-Hattab, Maher Dalayisha, and Qassam Nakhla .
In Beitunia, west of Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the released prisoner Ahmed Harish from his home, after blowing up the door of the house and firing a gas bomb inside it. They assaulted him by beating him during his arrest, and they also abused his brother Muhammad and tied him up during the raid .
In Al-Amari camp, the occupation forces arrested citizen Hussam Khader .
In the town of Deir Abu Mash’al, west of Ramallah, the following were arrested: Khabab Mahmoud Zahran (34 years old), Muhammad Ibrahim Zahran (33 years old), Bara’ Ahmed Daoud Atta (32 years old), Sharhabil Jamil Atta (29 years old), Nour Abdul Karim Shreim (43 years old), and Ahmed Al-Dasht, after their homes were raided and searched .
In the village of Abu Shkheidem, north of Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the released prisoner Issa Al-Badawi Shalalda .
Also arrested from the town of Na’alin were: Nizar Al-Khawaja, and the brothers Omar Talal Srour and Khaled Talal Srour .
From the village of Kobar, the occupation forces arrested: Khaldoun Al-Barghouthi, Muhammad Omar Al-Barghouthi, Aseel Walid Al-Barghouthi, and Issa Iyad Shalalda .
In the town of Aboud, they arrested the released prisoner Ibrahim Mahmoud Abdel Majid (60 years old) .
From the village of Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya, the released prisoner Yahya Hassan Awda Ladadwa was arrested .
Also arrested was the boy Khalil Ibrahim Musfar (16 years old) from the village of Al-Mazra’a Al-Qibliya (Mazra’a Al-Nubani) .
In the village of Arura, north of Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the released prisoner Ahmed Ihsan Khaseeb during a raid on the village .
It should be noted that the arrest campaign was accompanied by widespread raids and property damage .
