Gaza, December 29, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,266 martyrs and 171,222 wounded since October 7, 2023 .
Medical sources said on Monday that one body of a martyr and three injuries were brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 48 hours, while a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.
She indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire (October 11) has risen to 414, and the total number of injuries to 1,145, while 680 bodies have been recovered.
She noted the death of a citizen as a result of a building collapse, which raises the number of victims who arrived at hospitals as a result of building collapses due to the low-pressure system to 17 cases. Also, the death of a child as a result of the extreme cold raises the number of deaths as a result of the cold and low-pressure system to 3.
