The presidency of the “Two-State Solution” conference called on Israel on Monday to declare a clear commitment to the “two-state solution” and to halt violence and settlement activity.
This came in a joint statement issued by the presidency of the “Two-State Solution” conference, which approved the adoption of the “New York Declaration,” which affirms the international community’s unwavering commitment to the “Two-State Solution.”
The statement welcomed the recognition of the State of Palestine by France, Britain, Canada, and other countries, calling on other countries to join this process.
The statement said that ending the war in Gaza and releasing prisoners is a top priority and called for facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Strip.
He stressed that any form of Israeli annexation of the West Bank is a red line for the international community.
The joint statement of the Presidency of the Two-State Solution Conference made clear that ending the Israeli occupation and achieving a just and lasting peace is the only way to achieve full regional integration.
Between July 28 and 30, the first working session of the “Two-State Solution” conference was held in New York, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France. High-level participation, including a Palestinian presence, and an American absence were also present, supporting the process of international recognition of the Palestinian state.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the operation.
