The increase in settler violence in the West Bank is denounced by the European Union.

The settlement attacks on Palestinian inhabitants in Barqa, northwest of Nablus, and Al-Mughayer, east of Ramallah, which resulted in injuries and the destruction of Palestinian houses and property, were met with dismay from the European Union.

In a statement, the union said that settler attacks on Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territory had increased in frequency and severity, according to data from the United Nations.

He urged Israel to act swiftly in accordance with its obligations under international law to ensure accountability and safeguard Palestinian civilians.
