A settler shot and killed a young man south of Hebron.

In the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron, a Palestinian teenager was fatally shot by an Israeli settler on Friday morning after allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.

In a press release, of which Safa Agency has a copy, the Ministry of Health stated that it had been notified by the Public Authority for Civil Affairs of the death of a citizen who had been shot by the occupation south of Hebron.

According to a statement from the Israeli army, a Palestinian was neutralized after reportedly attempting to knife a settler in the Tana Omrim settlement. The soldiers also said they were surveying the area in case any further assailants appeared.

He noted that following the young man’s intrusion, warning sirens sounded in the settlement.
