Tonight, during a large invasion by the Israeli occupation forces into the Aqabat Jaber camp, south of Jericho, eight young men were shot with live ammunition, one of them was described as critically wounded.

According to our correspondent, two sizable bulldozers supported by more than 100 Israeli military vehicles carrying hundreds of soldiers rushed the camp from different angles while sealing up the gates from all sides.

The reporter added that while several snipers ascended the roofs of the homes, the occupying forces were stationed in the streets and alleys.

He emphasized how the occupying forces raided, surrounded, and searched inside numerous residences while causing destruction and damage.

He claimed that the occupying forces searched empty homes before entering them and abusing the people, terrorizing and frightening the women and children.

The occupation forces reportedly forbade the Red Crescent’s workers from visiting the camp, which included news and reports of injuries.

Bullets and loud explosions could be heard all across the camp as fierce armed combat took place there.
