Israeli forces Monday detained a Palestinian youth from the occupied city of Jerusalem for merely raising a board in al-Aqsa Mosque. Sources said that the soldiers detained Maher Abu Alhawa after he raised a signboard in the Mosque compounds.
Meanwhile, an Israeli court has issued a six-month long administrative detention order against Morshed Shawamreh
from Jerusalem.
Shawamreh was detained on March 27th after the Israeli forces raided his family’s house.
Earlier, Israeli authorities released Palestinian youths Mohammad al-Salamyah and Ammar Ashty but placed them both under house arrest for a few days, and prevented them from entering al-Aqsa mosque and using social media platforms for a month.
