The World Food Programme said on Tuesday that the Gaza Strip now needs food on a large scale in light of the tragic conditions there.
In a statement issued last night, the program stressed that humanitarian efforts must advance to save the lives of people in the Gaza Strip, not retreat.
He stressed that Gaza needs to expand food aid immediately to reassure people that they will not starve.
The World Food Programme called for safe and unhindered humanitarian access to allow for the immediate and orderly distribution of food aid throughout Gaza.
