The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Sunday that thousands of Palestinians forced to leave Gaza City and Jabalia camp are now living in overcrowded shelters and makeshift tents without clean water, sanitation, or safety.
This came in a post by UNRWA on the X platform, in which it emphasized that “displacement is increasing, and there is no safe place,” as the occupation army continues its systematic destruction of buildings, residential towers, and UN schools.
The UN agency confirmed that its teams continue to provide services, but the crisis has become enormous.
She stressed that “thousands of Palestinians who were forced to leave Gaza City and Jabalia (a town in the northern Gaza Strip) are now living in overcrowded shelters and makeshift tents without clean water, sanitation, or safety.
