The head of the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Department, Burhanettin Duran, condemned the attack launched by “Israel” on Gaza in violation of the ceasefire.
Duran said in a post on his NSosyal account on Tuesday: “The latest attack (on Gaza) has once again shown that Israel poses a threat to regional peace and stability.”
He added: “The international community must show real resolve in condemning Israel’s policy of genocide.”
He added: “The Israeli Knesset’s alleged decision to annex the occupied West Bank, and the attack on Gaza that followed immediately, proves that the Israeli government has no agenda for peace, but is determined to continue the occupation and genocide. This latest attack shows once again that Israel represents a threat to peace and stability in the region.”
He affirmed that Türkiye, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will continue to defend the Palestinian cause and stand firmly against injustice, to be the voice of justice and humanity and to stand with the oppressed.
