On Sunday morning, Israeli occupation forces notified the demolition of homes and shops in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation authorities stormed the Coptic suburb of Ras al-Hay in the town of al-Ram and issued demolition notices to three homes. She explained that the notices included three homes, whose owners were given only three days to carry out the demolition, a move residents viewed as an attempt to impose a new reality on the ground. The area affected by the notices lies on the road connecting the Jaba’ and Qalandia checkpoints, a key axis in the occupation’s plan to expand a settlement road serving the settlements surrounding Jerusalem and isolating them from Palestinian towns.
