On Friday, the Israeli occupation court postponed the trial of a prisoner and extended the detention of another.
The Prisoners’ Media Office reported that the occupation court postponed the trial of prisoner Hussein Hassan Al-Barghouthi from the town of Beit Rima until March 8, 2026. He is the brother of prisoner Anas Al-Barghouthi.
It also stated that the occupation court extended the detention of the Jerusalemite youth Iyad Odeh until May.
In this context, the occupation authorities released prisoner Mohammad Mahamid from Jenin, after arresting him last Saturday from his home.
