Jerusalem, March 10, 2026 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation municipality in Jerusalem forced Jerusalemite citizen Nidal Abu Sirriya to demolish his own house in the town of Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem, on Tuesday, under the pretext of building without a permit .
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the house is about 41 square meters in size and is inhabited by six people. It was built about four years ago, noting that the occupation authorities force Jerusalemites to demolish their homes themselves to avoid paying exorbitant fines if the municipality carries out the demolition .
