Nablus, January 8, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces began demolishing two houses in the Upper Cooperation area of Nablus city on Thursday .
Security sources reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by three military bulldozers, stormed the Upper Cooperation area and began demolishing two houses in the area, belonging to citizens Ashraf Khattab and Laith Nael Al-Abed .
She added that the occupation forces handed the homeowners an order to evacuate their homes on December 12th .
Last month, the occupation forces forced six families to evacuate their homes in Upper Al-Taawon Street in Nablus, in preparation for demolishing them .
Al-Abed confirmed in a previous interview with Wafa that the houses have been threatened with demolition since 2021, in addition to 10 other houses, all of which contain 2-4 families, stressing that according to the maps obtained by the families, all the houses are located in the area classified as “B”, but the occupation claims that they are located in the area classified as “C ”.
It is reported that the occupation forces notified a number of homes in the same area of demolition under the pretext of building in areas classified as “C”.
