Ramallah, December 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed the entrances to villages and towns north and west of Ramallah since the early morning hours .
Local sources reported that the occupation forces closed the main gate at the entrance to the village of Ni’lin, and prevented citizens and vehicles from entering or leaving it .
Simultaneously, the occupation forces closed the gate leading to the village of Kharbatha Bani Harith, preventing citizens from entering or leaving it, which caused a traffic crisis .
Those forces also closed the Atara military checkpoint since the early morning hours, causing disruption to the movement of citizens, especially those coming and going from villages and towns northwest and west of Ramallah, and from the northern governorates .
According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission last October, the total number of permanent and temporary barriers dividing Palestinian lands reached 916, including military barriers and gates , of which 243 iron gates were erected after October 7, 2023.
