Hebron, March 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 15 citizens from Hebron Governorate at dawn on Wednesday, after storming their homes, searching them, tampering with their contents, and assaulting them and others with severe beatings .
Security and local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces raided the city of Hebron and arrested Ibrahim Dofash, Youssef Ghaith, Tariq Anwar Da’is, Hatem Al-Jamal, Muhammad Al-Laqta, the elderly Hatem Qafisha, journalist Musab Qafisha, Omar Majed Amr, and Youssef Wahid Abu Sara. From the town of Beit Ula, northwest of Hebron, they arrested the young man Muhammad Khaled Salem Farash. From the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, they arrested the citizen Abdul Aziz Amer Hadoush. From the town of Yatta, they arrested the young man Awad Abu Ubaid. From the town of Idhna, they arrested the citizens Khalil Awawda, Muhammad Saeed Abu Zalta, and Jarrah Ghaleb Abu Jheisha. They took them to an unknown location after severely beating and abusing them .
The occupation forces also severely beat the young man Badr Ziad Abu Hleil in the town of Dura, south of Hebron, causing him injuries and bruises, after which he was transferred to the hospital for treatment. They also searched several houses in the governorate, including those belonging to: Radi Abu Aisha, Yasser and Abbas Al-Sharbati, and Ashraf Abu Khalaf, and ransacked their contents .
Media activist Muhammad Awad, from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, told Wafa that the occupation forces raided the town’s neighborhoods with their military vehicles, stormed dozens of homes, searched them, and wreaked havoc on their contents. They gathered family members, photographed them and their personal identification cards, subjected them to field investigations, and threatened a number of released prisoners with re-arrest. In some homes, furniture, belongings, and window and door glass were smashed .
The occupation forces also set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron, its towns, villages and camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks and earth barriers .
