
On Sunday morning, Israeli bulldozers began paving a new settlement road in the “Ikhlaal al-Thadra” area in Wadi al-Jawaya, south of the city of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.The Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Land and Housing Rights said that occupation bulldozers returned to work this morning in the “Adra Violation” area in Wadi Al-Jawaya in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, to pave a new settlement road that aims to connect the settlement outposts established in the area and expand control over the lands.She explained that this settlement plan would lead to the encirclement of Palestinian communities in Masafer Yatta, depriving residents of access to their agricultural lands and livelihoods.She stressed that this step comes within the framework of the policy of accelerated settlement expansion in the West Bank.
