Ramallah, March 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa discussed, during a telephone call today, Wednesday, with his Dutch counterpart Rob Uitten, the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, especially in light of the escalation of Israeli measures and settler attacks, the danger of annexation plans and procedures, in addition to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip as a result of the continued closure of crossings with the Strip and the scarcity of relief supplies .
Mustafa appreciated the Dutch support provided to Palestine, both politically and humanely, and the resumption of support provided to UNRWA, stressing the need to intensify international efforts and exert more pressure towards ending the Israeli financial blockade and releasing the withheld Palestinian tax revenues .
Mustafa congratulated his Dutch counterpart on the formation of the new government, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries at all levels .
For his part, the Dutch Prime Minister affirmed his country’s efforts to strengthen joint cooperation, reject unilateral Israeli measures and the escalation of settler attacks, and emphasize the pivotal role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) .
