Gaza, March 8, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip rose today, Sunday, to 72,126 martyrs and 171,809 wounded, since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023 .
Medical sources reported that the total number of people who arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours until now is 3 martyrs (one new martyr, and 2 recovered bodies), and 4 injuries, while a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams are unable to reach them .
The sources explained that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 641, and the total number of injuries to 1,711, while 755 bodies have been recovered .
