Gaza, February 21 , 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,070 martyrs and 171,738 wounded since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023 .
Medical sources reported on Saturday that the total number of casualties who arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 48 hours until now is: one martyr and 10 injuries, while a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams are unable to reach them until now .
The same sources indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 612, and the total number of injuries to 1,640, while 726 bodies have been recovered .
