Gaza, January 3, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,384 martyrs and 171,251 wounded since October 7, 2023 .
Medical sources said on Saturday that three martyrs (including two new martyrs and one martyr whose body was recovered) and 18 injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 48 hours, while a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.
She indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire (October 11) has risen to 418, and the total number of injuries to 1,171, while 684 bodies have been recovered.
She noted the addition of 110 martyrs to the cumulative statistics of martyrs, whose data was completed and approved by the Martyrs Approval Committee, during the period from 26/12/2025 to 02/01/2026.
