The Syrian capital, Damascus, witnessed a demonstration in solidarity with the “Global Steadfastness Flotilla,” which was attacked by Israel while en route to the Gaza Strip to break the blockade and deliver humanitarian aid.
The demonstration took place in Hijaz Square in central Damascus in solidarity with the Palestinian people in light of the attacks launched by “Israel.”
Syrian demonstrators held up banners bearing slogans in Arabic, Hebrew, and English, including “No to normalization with Israel,” “Al-Aqsa is ours,” “We are all Gaza, we are all the steadfastness fleet,” and “The Golan Heights are Syrian land.”
They chanted slogans in solidarity with Gaza and the displaced Palestinians.
