The Government Media Office in Gaza condemned in the strongest terms the policies of deception and lies practiced by the Israeli occupation army in its speeches directed at local and international public opinion.”While it claims to be targeting the resistance, field facts prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the occupation is deliberately, and in accordance with a clear methodology, bombing schools, mosques, hospitals, and medical centers, destroying towers and residential buildings, and tents for displaced people, and targeting the headquarters of various institutions, including international institutions working in the humanitarian field,” the office said in a statement received by Safa news agency on Sunday.He added that the occupation is trying to justify its organized and systematic crimes by promoting misleading narratives in various local and international media outlets.He explained that the facts on the ground reveal killings, destruction, and displacement that have nothing to do with the false pretexts and claims he is promoting.He pointed out that the occupation has repeatedly declared that it is attacking “resistance targets,” while in reality, it is pursuing unarmed civilians in their homes and residential neighborhoods, directly targeting them to force their displacement and forced migration.He emphasized that the occupation’s declared intention to “eliminate the resistance” is nothing but a false cover concealing crimes of genocide, systematic killing, mass destruction, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement, all of which constitute documented crimes against humanity and war crimes that warrant prosecution before international courts.The office held the occupation, the US administration, and the countries involved in the genocide fully responsible for these most horrific crimes in modern history and for this ongoing barbaric aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip for 23 consecutive months.He called on the international community, the United Nations, and all human rights organizations worldwide to assume their legal and moral responsibilities and take serious and effective action to stop these crimes, hold their perpetrators accountable, and bring them to justice in accordance with international law.
