On Wednesday morning, settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound through the Mughrabi Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.The Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and organized provocative tours in its courtyards.She explained that the settlers received explanations about the alleged “Temple” and performed Talmudic rituals in its eastern area.The occupation forces imposed restrictions and limitations on the entry of worshippers and Jerusalemites to the mosque, and confiscated their identity cards at its outer gates. On Tuesday, eight settlers tried to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Lions’ Gate, carrying a goat, three pigeons, and prayer items (tefillin).The Jerusalem Governorate considered this incursion a dangerous escalation within the ongoing and escalating violations by settlers.
