Settlers attacked Khirbet Tana, east of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, at dawn on Tuesday.
Thaer Hanani, head of the Tana Land Defense Committee, reported that a group of settlers stormed the village and detained 12 young residents in the Beit al-Sheikh mosque last night. They opened fire, before an Israeli army jeep arrived and began shooting and severely beating the young men, seizing their phones and wallets.
He added that four settler vehicles later stormed the site, carrying a group of teenagers, and assaulted the youths. They were detained for more than four hours before being released. He noted that the settlers also stole two young men’s cell phones.
