The Jordan Valley, February 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Settlers began today, Thursday, to fence off additional lands in Ein al-Hilweh in the northern Jordan Valley .
The head of the Al-Malih and Bedouin encampments village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, reported that settlers had begun installing iron markers to place barbed wire fences on them in the future, near the tents of citizens in Ain al-Hilweh in the northern Jordan Valley .
Over the past few months, settlers have seized hundreds of dunams of grazing and agricultural land in various areas of the northern Jordan Valley .
The northern Jordan Valley is witnessing a dangerous escalation in settler attacks against citizens and their property, which has forced about 20 Palestinian families to leave the Al-Mayta and Al-Burj communities .
