Nablus, February 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Settlers set fire to a mosque located between the towns of Sarra and Tell, west of Nablus, at dawn on Monday, and wrote racist slogans on its walls.
Local sources reported that settlers set fire to the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque by pouring flammable materials at the entrance, noting that the settlers also wrote racist slogans hostile to Arabs and Muslims on the mosque’s walls.
For its part, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs explained that these gangs, under the protection of the occupation, attacked 45 mosques last year, 2025.
