
On Tuesday morning, settlers began paving a new settlement road near the town of Aqwawis, south of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.The Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights reported that groups of settlers began this morning bulldozing and paving a new settlement road extending from the entrance to the town of Aqwawis to the Tel Ma’in area.She explained that this settlement road constitutes a new chapter in the series of settlement expansion in the region, threatening to confiscate more Palestinian land and isolate Bedouin communities from their natural surroundings.
