Hebron, March 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Citizen Yosri Majed Abu Qubaita (31 years old) was martyred , and 8 others were injured on Wednesday, as a result of several vehicles they were traveling in overturning, following a chase and shooting at them by the Israeli occupation army and settlers in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron .
The Red Crescent Society reported that its crews and ambulance crews dealt with a martyr and 3 injuries, one of them from live bullets, after the occupation forces chased vehicles carrying workers in the mountains of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Activist Osama Makhamra told Wafa that the occupation forces and settler groups chased a number of citizens’ vehicles in the area between Umm al-Khair and Fateh Sidra in Masafer Yatta, and fired live ammunition at them, which led to a number of them overturning. This resulted in the martyrdom of Abu Qubaita, and the injury of eight others, one of whom was seriously wounded.
He said that the occupation forces are preventing residents and volunteer groups from continuing the search for the missing and injured, and are firing live ammunition at them .
