Several Moroccan cities witnessed massive solidarity events and rallies on Sunday evening, in support of the Palestinian people and in rejection of the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The protests, organized at the invitation of non-governmental organizations, were held in the cities of Casablanca, Fez, Tangier, and Ben Guerir. Hundreds of citizens participated, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans praising the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Palestinian people.
Participants called on Arab and Islamic countries and all countries around the world to take urgent action to rebuild Gaza and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid, given the stifling social and food crisis the Strip is experiencing as a result of the aggression and blockade.
In Casablanca, a solidarity festival was held, featuring artistic performances and pro-Palestine anthems. Participants held up banners affirming Morocco’s continued popular support for the Palestinian cause.
