Jerusalem, March 31, 2026 (WAFA) – For the thirty-second consecutive day, the Israeli occupation authorities continue to close the Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshippers, taking advantage of the security situation related to the American-Israeli war on Iran, according to what was announced by the Jerusalem Governorate .
In a related context, the so-called “Temple Mount groups” continue to incite people to storm the mosque during the Jewish Passover celebrations, calling for the performance of sacrificial rituals inside it, and demanding that the mosque be opened during the period from April 2 to 9 .
The occupation is exploiting these conditions as a pretext to strengthen its control over Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid escalating popular and Jerusalemite calls to mobilize at the military checkpoints and barriers surrounding it, in an attempt to break the imposed siege and reopen it to worshippers .
