Sirens sounded in several areas of Israel on Tuesday, as a result of missile launches from Iran.
Israeli media reported that sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and occupied Jerusalem after the Israeli army announced it had detected missiles launched from Iran, noting that explosions were heard in Jerusalem.
The Israeli army confirmed in a statement that missiles were launched from Iran towards Israel, and that defense systems were working to intercept the threats.
An Iranian news agency announced that the army targeted oil refineries and fuel depots in the city of Haifa with drones, in response to what it described as “Israeli attacks on oil depots inside Iran.”
This comes as the (American-Israeli) war against Iran enters its eleventh day, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that military operations against Tehran “have not yet ended.”
Injuries and deaths
Yedioth Ahronoth reported the death of a worker injured by an Iranian missile fired yesterday, while The Times of Israel reported 16 injuries as a result of missiles fired by Hezbollah towards Tel Aviv.
Yesterday, it was announced that two people were killed as a result of an Iranian missile attack targeting central Israel.
Hebrew sources, according to a translation by the Safa news agency, reported that 16 Israelis were killed and 2,339 others were injured since the start of the war with Iran as a result of Iranian bombing and Hezbollah strikes.
The Israeli Ministry of Health said that hospitals have received 2,339 wounded since the beginning of the war (including one critical case, 11 serious cases, and 11 moderate cases), noting that yesterday the hospitals received one critical case, three serious cases, and two moderately wounded.Iran, Israel, the war on Iran, America
