Gaza – Safa
On Friday, the Israeli occupation army renewed its violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza by opening heavy gunfire and carrying out artillery shelling in several areas.
Our correspondent reported intense gunfire east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
He also stated that occupation military vehicles opened fire toward the eastern areas of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the occupation army continues to violate the humanitarian protocol of the agreement and prevents the entry of shelter and relief equipment for hundreds of thousands of displaced people living in tents, causing a humanitarian catastrophe that has claimed the lives of dozens due to cold weather and low-pressure systems.
The occupation army also fires randomly at civilians in areas near what is known as the “yellow line,” from which it is required, under the second phase of the agreement, to withdraw toward the buffer zone.
The second phase came into effect last week; however, the occupation army has not implemented its provisions on the ground.
As a result of violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which has been in effect since October 10 of last year, the occupation army has killed more than 477 citizens.
