The General Directorate of Police in Gaza confirmed that its explosives engineering teams have been carrying out their duties since the ceasefire took effect, dealing with war remnants and suspicious objects left behind by the Israeli occupation throughout all governorates of the Gaza Strip.In a statement received by Safa News Agency on Saturday, it indicated that several incidents involving suspicious object explosions had occurred in recent days, resulting in injuries, including to children, as a result of their tampering with the objects.She urged citizens to be vigilant and watch their children, and to refrain from approaching or tampering with any debris or foreign objects found among the rubble and debris of destroyed buildings, in order to protect their lives.She called on them to quickly report it by calling the police operations on the toll-free number (100) or the central operations of the Ministry of Interior on the number (109), and to follow the instructions they receive until the specialized teams arrive to deal with it.
