Gaza – Special Report by Safa
In the first episode of its video program “Gaza Podcast,” the Palestinian Press Agency (Safa) hosts Dr. Fadl Naim, director of the Arab National Hospital “Baptist,” to talk about the most prominent professional and humanitarian situations and experiences he lived through during the war of extermination waged by “Israel” against the Gaza Strip.
During the episode, Dr. Naeem discusses the details of the horrific massacre that the “Baptist” hospital was subjected to, and how that crime posed a direct threat to the medical staff, and imposed enormous pressure on the teams working in exceptional and complex circumstances.
He also recounts difficult situations he faced while on duty in the operating room, and how he dealt with dozens of injuries at once amidst a lack of resources and continued shelling.
Dr. Naeem also recounts the harrowing moments when he received the news of the martyrdom of his elderly mother, who was displaced in the southern Gaza Strip, amid communication outages and his inability to bid her a final farewell.
